In a desolate wasteland of the future, brilliant AI engineer Wei Liang faces the total collapse of her ideals. Her life’s work has been maliciously subverted by her ex-partner, Yao Yuan, twisting her visionary research from soulful "companion" androids into nothing more than cold, clinical service tools.
Crushed by this betrayal, Wei Liang resigns in defiance, secretly salvaged a "defective" unit designated PWL-000 that was slated for incineration. As she wanders into the dust of the old world, she remains blissfully unaware that within the chassis of this discarded machine lies a secret capable of reshaping humanity’s fate.
