Furthermore, despite his habit of never using heat, the heating system in his home had been strangely activated on the very day he died. The investigation leads Si Yuanlong and Ye Qian to a local guesthouse. While they find a security camera mounted on a tree, its range is unfortunately limited.
The owner expresses frustration over the death of a guest named Zhou Lianqin, whose body was found hanging in a room shortly after the business opened. Since the reservation and payment were handled entirely online, the owner had no direct contact with the family and only entered the room after the guest failed to emerge for several days.
