Fang Yan expressed concern about her injury and suggested they avoid lift moves in their upcoming performance, but Lu Qiyi, determined to prove herself, insisted on sticking to their original plan. Meanwhile, in the dorm, Hao Kaixin speculated that Bai Qiao had been spending a lot of time with Li Xiao, suggesting a romantic relationship.
Jealous, Hao Kaixin searched Bai Qiao's bag while she was washing up and found dance shoes, seemingly confirming her suspicion that Bai Qiao had found a dance partner in Li Xiao. Following the announcement, Li Xiao, surprised by the outcome, sent Bai Qiao a message offering financial assistance if she needed it. Before she could reply, Bai Qiao received a phone call, promising the person on the line that she would wire the money within two days. Later, at the official Musical Festival, Lu Qiyi's father attended as promised.
Before Lu Qiyi and Fang Yan's performance, Zhang Yang, a guest performer, played an original piano piece called "The Flower Pink," dedicating it to a girl he'd known for a long time and wishing her success. The music helped calm Lu Qiyi's nerves. Lu Qiyi and Fang Yan performed their original musical, "Art Students." However, Fang Yan's father, Mr. Su Wen, was among the judges.
He delivered a harsh critique of Fang Yan's acting, specifically giving him 59 points, stating that he perceived no love in Fang Yan's eyes and a distinct lack of sincerity and detail in his portrayal. Inside was Mr. Su Wen, his father, who offered gifts for Fang Yan and his mother.
Fang Yan, however, was cold and dismissive, rejecting the gifts and expressing a desire to leave. Mr. Su Wen tried to smooth things over, suggesting Fang Yan was still upset about his public criticism during the festival, but Fang Yan maintained his distant demeanor and left. Later, Hao Kaixin received a shocking phone call from Li Sanshang. His father had passed away, and he intended to drop out of school.
Overcome with worry, Hao Kaixin, Lu Qiyi, Du Ang, and Fang Yan immediately decided to drive to Li Sanshang's home, about 200 kilometers away, fearing he might do something impulsive in his grief.
