City of Romance
City of Romance is a youth romance drama directed by Mao Bingzhang, starring Yu Cheng'en, Wang Zixuan, Gao Maotong, Lin Qiyu, and Xu Bin.
The series is based on the novel "Wo Bu Shi Huai Nv Sheng / 我不是坏女生" by Rao Xueman. It tells the story of Su Yancheng, a genius manga artist who despises lies in university clubs, and Bai Xiaoduo, a girl who, due to her insecurities, has developed the habit of using lies to protect herself. Despite their differences, the two slowly heal each other through a series of events, gradually easing the emotional scars they both carry.
