Guo Chengyu then added Jiang Xiaoshuai's contact information, which Jiang Xiaoshuai accepted, hoping to gather information for Wu Suowei. Later, Jiang Xiaoshuai considered asking Guo Chengyu about Chi Cheng but decided against it, fearing it would arouse suspicion, and blocked him instead. Undeterred, Guo Chengyu simply searched for Jiang Xiaoshuai online and found his social media.
Meanwhile, Chi Cheng investigated and found a young python in the vegetable delivery truck, confirming the snakes were hidden within his company, likely in the cafeteria. He decided against a direct retrieval, knowing his father would simply find another way to take them. Instead, he sought a foolproof method, realizing that the cunning Guo Chengyu was also aware of the situation and stood to gain from the conflict.
Chi Cheng later found Wu Suowei sleeping, watching him with an affectionate gaze. During their conversation, Wu Suowei admitted he wasn't sure if he liked men, but he knew he liked Chi Cheng.
