He also explained plans to convert Wu Suowei's former bedroom into a staff lounge and make the rooftop their private retreat. Jiang Xiaoshuai was deeply moved, realizing Guo Chengyu had sold his snake park to finance this venture, calling it a "betrothal gift." Guo Chengyu assured him that as long as Jiang Xiaoshuai liked it, the sacrifice was worth it, declaring, "Shuaishuai, you can be responsible for loving the world, and I'll be responsible for loving you."

As they leaned in for a kiss, they were interrupted by arriving construction workers. Chi Cheng then brought Wu Suowei to his parents' home, where his parents showed clear acceptance of Wu Suowei.
