After saving Jiu Suihong, Xu Xingcheng draped his jacket over Tianying. As he left the hospital, he found Tianying's necklace, which he discreetly put into his pocket instead of returning. He then arrived at the Hilton Hotel, only to find himself surrounded by masked figures. His initial alarm turned to surprise and delight as the figures removed their masks and cloaks, revealing a group of beautiful women.
They were all gathered to throw a welcome party for Xu Xingcheng, organized by Luo Fusheng. Meanwhile, Tianying realized her necklace was missing. To find her necklace and return his clothes, Tianying followed the address Xu Xingcheng had mentioned and made her way to the Hilton Hotel. Resourceful, Tianying cleverly altered her clothes to fit in and successfully entered the party. However, she accidentally fell into the swimming pool and cried for help.
Luo Fusheng and Xu Xingcheng pulled her out. Embarrassed, Tianying quickly returned Xu Xingcheng's clothes and hurried away from the party. The others continued their games and festivities until exhaustion led them to sleep. The next morning, Xu Xingcheng woke up in Luo Fusheng's bed. After a brief chat, Xu Xingcheng left to sober up, forgetting about the necklace he had taken. At the hospital, Jiu Suihong regained consciousness. Tianying and Tianci were by his side, caring for him.
Boss Ma of the theater arrived to visit. Jiu Suihong sincerely apologized for the previous night's incident, offering to compensate for any losses. Boss Ma reassured him, then proposed that Tianying should take the lead role. He explained that Tianying's fearless performance in his stead had made her an overnight sensation, drawing a large audience eager to see her perform.
After Boss Ma left, Jiu Suihong explained to Tianying and Tianci that the previous night's disruption was actually caused by the Xinglong Pavilion, who were targeting the Hong family, making the troupe unintentional scapegoats. He then affectionately praised Tianying, expressing his pride in her and emphasizing that hard work would ensure the troupe's prosperity. He also remarked that the position of troupe leader should go to the most capable, regardless of gender. Later, Xu Xingcheng came to visit Jiu Suihong.
Tianci, noticing Xu Xingcheng's keen interest in Tianying, thanked him for his help but quickly dismissed him, saying that Tianying had already returned to rest at the troupe's quarters. Privately, Jiu Suihong told Tianci that Tianying was adopted and not his biological daughter. He revealed his plan to eventually marry Tianying to Tianci, assuring his son that while Tianying might lead the troupe, it would ultimately belong to him as his natural heir.
Tianci's face lit up with a happy smile upon hearing this. Meanwhile, Xu Xingcheng's quiet and artistic sister, Xu Xingyuan, was at a public art exhibition when a thief stole her wallet from a chair. When she confronted him, the thief brazenly accused her of being a swindler. Lin Qikai, witnessing the scene, stepped in to defend Xu Xingyuan.
He confronted the thief and, upon Xu Xingyuan describing the wallet's contents and his subordinate confirming them, exposed the thief's lies, forcing him to return the wallet before sending him away. Xu Xingyuan was deeply grateful for Lin Qikai's timely assistance. Later, Tianying prepared to go on stage for another performance. The theater was packed, and to her delight, she spotted Xu Xingcheng in the audience while performing her famous act, "blocking horses."
However, Luo Cheng, Luo Fusheng's adopted younger brother, soon found Xu Xingcheng and took him away, despite Xu Xingcheng's reluctance to leave the play. Luo Fusheng had sent for Xu Xingcheng to bring him to the MGM nightclub, intending to set him up with Hong Lan. Hong Lan, however, was only interested in Luo Fusheng and was quite temperamental with others.
Xu Xingcheng, frustrated by being dragged from a Peking opera performance he wanted to see to a nightclub performance he didn't, found the situation utterly tiresome. Tianying's performance was a great success, with her "blocking horses" act becoming a sensation. Boss Ma, pleased with the Longfu theater's newfound fame, offered the troupe free accommodation and encouraged them to continue performing there without worry.
