Lu Sen, wearing newly provided pajamas, joined Uncle in his room. Uncle, remarking on their good fit, settled in to chat. Upon learning that Lu Sen usually reads before bed, Uncle offered the only books available: technical manuals on electric appliances. Lu Sen started reading them. However, with Uncle snoring loudly, Lu Sen found it impossible to sleep.

He quietly went to the living room to the sofa and, realizing he was short on funds, decided to secretly call Kang Li'er to borrow money. Kang Li'er was surprised to hear from Lu Sen, having looked for him at the Orange Orchard. She was relieved to learn he was staying at Shanshan’s house. She then revealed that Li Zhan had admitted to monitoring Lu Sen and was now aware of his medical condition.

Lu Sen questioned how Li Zhan could have known, speculating it might be connected to the recent lab hacking incident. While Kang Li'er warned him to be careful, Lu Sen believed Li Zhan was trying to convey a message rather than harm him. He instructed Kang Li'er to prepare for the worst, especially concerning the upcoming shareholders' meeting, where he anticipated Li Jingcheng would make moves.

He also asked her to tell Li Zhan that Li Jingcheng was the reason he had been estranged from Li Zhan for so many years, implicitly drawing Li Zhan into their conflict. Kang Li'er assured him she would monitor the meeting. The next morning, Lu Sen woke up on the sofa. Shanshan felt bad for him sleeping there, but Lu Sen did not mind, only focusing on clarifying the company situation.

Later, in Shanshan's room, Lu Sen discovered her notebook filled with creative designs. He admired her ingenuity upon realizing she was the inventor behind the "rainbow umbrella" and the "innovative sensor lamp." He then found a plush rabbit, which contained a recording of Shanshan's voice. In the recording, Shanshan addressed Lu Sen, expressing her desire to tell him her feelings, her fear of his reaction upon learning her secrets, and her reluctance to apologize for her deception because she "liked.

. ." However, the recording cut off before she could complete the confession. Shanshan, embarrassed that Lu Sen had uncovered her secret, tried to snatch the rabbit and other items back. Lu Sen pressed her about the incomplete recording, particularly the "I like" part, but Shanshan playfully deflected his questions, claiming she meant she liked his angry expression. Lu Sen saw immense potential in her inventions, especially the rabbit if integrated with smart software.

He proposed a "contract," and they playfully drew on palms to seal the deal. Their moment of intimacy was interrupted when Enbao entered the room, having been sent by her father to ensure the door remained open for "ventilation" whenever Lu Sen and Shanshan were alone together. Shanshan, slightly annoyed but amused, took Enbao to another room. Enbao openly declared her affection for Lu Sen and her intention to marry him when she grew up.

Shanshan, seizing the opportunity, mischievously suggested that Lu Sen might not like Enbao because he often avoided her. This sparked a determination in Enbao to prove Shanshan wrong by constantly trying to get close to Lu Sen. Throughout the day, Enbao relentlessly pursued Lu Sen, trying to share his food at dinner and offering to help with dishes. Later, while Lu Sen and Shanshan were watching TV, Enbao squeezed between them, forcing Lu Sen to the edge of the sofa.

He eventually resorted to putting a cushion between them. When Enbao finally fell asleep, Lu Sen tried to get Shanshan to take her to bed, but Shanshan feigned sleep. With no other option, Lu Sen carefully carried Enbao to her room. As he laid her down, Enbao stirred and mumbled "Lu Sen," reaching out her hand. Hesitantly, Lu Sen touched her outstretched fingers. To his astonishment, he experienced no allergic reaction, and his smartwatch showed his condition to be excellent.

Overjoyed by this breakthrough, Lu Sen no longer felt the need to maintain distance from Enbao and engaged in playful interaction with her. Later, while Lu Sen and Shanshan were out shopping, Shanshan received a phone call from Aunt. Aunt informed her that Enbao's grandma was unwell and that she, Uncle, and Enbao were leaving for their hometown to visit her, leaving Shanshan and Lu Sen alone at home.

Shanshan expressed concern about the sudden trip and her grandma's health, but Aunt reassured her. After the call, Shanshan mused aloud about being alone with Lu Sen. Meanwhile, in the car, Uncle voiced his apprehension about leaving the two of them unsupervised, but Aunt dismissed his worries, pointing out they were both adults. Uncle then tried to suggest leaving Enbao behind, prompting Aunt to reveal she knew he had been deliberately using Enbao as a chaperone.

Uncle then shifted his complaints to Lu Sen, claiming he wasn't good enough for Shanshan. Aunt, however, defended Lu Sen, praising his character, politeness, diligence, and their shared passion for inventions. She concluded that Lu Sen and Shanshan were a perfect match, much to Uncle's annoyance. Back home, Lu Sen playfully carried Shanshan into the house, much to her feigned embarrassment.

He then presented her with the sensor lamp, explaining that he had wanted to give it to her when she was "Friday" and that it was now "returning to its rightful owner." He told her that the lit lamp symbolized his forgiveness, and they shared a tender embrace, fully reconciling. Later that night, Lu Sen lingered in Shanshan's room. When Shanshan asked about the company, he brushed it off as routine reports.

As Shanshan prepared for bed, she playfully pushed his arm off her, suggesting he leave. Instead, Lu Sen offered to tell her a story, and Shanshan eagerly asked for a tale about a little rabbit. Lu Sen began a charming story about a little rabbit who discovered the moon was edible and, while waiting for it, met a little fox.

The little fox, with a blushing face, confessed his love for the little rabbit, who then shyly admitted her feelings in return. The delighted fox then offered the rabbit stars from the hillside, which were also sweet and edible. Before Lu Sen could finish the story, Shanshan drifted off to sleep. He leaned in, kissed her softly, and whispered a goodnight to his "little rabbit," promising to gather all the stars in the sky for her. As he quietly rose to leave, Uncle suddenly appeared at the door, clearing his throat loudly, startling Lu Sen.
