When Mu Xiangxiang asked Qiao Nan where she had been, Qiao Nan (in Mu Xiangxiang's body), lying, claimed that Luo Meisheng was sick, and she had gone home to visit her, having been asked by her father to buy medicine and check on her. Mu Xiangxiang asked if Luo Meisheng was alright, and Qiao Nan replied that she was fine, just suffering from too much air conditioning and would be better after some medicine.
Mu Xiangxiang, feeling she might gain weight from the sweets, urged Qiao Nan to leave quickly. As they left, Mu Song was waiting to pick up Qiao Nan (in Mu Xiangxiang's body). Qiao Nan (in Mu Xiangxiang's body), proud of her "educational results," showed Mu Xiangxiang (in Qiao Nan's body) how obedient Mu Song had become, calling her "Sis." Mu Xiangxiang was astonished, unable to believe that the unruly Mu Song had been so thoroughly disciplined by Qiao Nan.
Mu Song, however, grumbled that he only came because Qiao Nan insisted, and was then instructed by Qiao Nan to call Mu Xiangxiang "Ge" (Brother), which he did. At home, Qiao Yuanshan showed great favoritism towards Qiao Nan (who was Mu Xiangxiang inside), even asking Luo Meisheng to prepare two new dishes and a soup specially for him.
Observing this from the stairs, Qiao Rui felt that his father's affection for Qiao Nan now surpassed his own, and he lost his appetite. To further manipulate Qiao Rui, Jajun orchestrated a conversation between two company employees, where they "privately" discussed Qiao Nan's impending succession of the Yuanqiao Group and Qiao Yuanshan's high regard for him. This conversation was strategically placed for Qiao Rui to overhear.
Jajun then feigned anger, scolding the "indiscreet" employees and publicly firing them from the procurement department, threatening that they should never appear at Yuanqiao Group again. Later, Jajun secretly reassigned the two employees to better positions with a supplier, strictly instructing them to keep quiet about the incident. Qiao Nan, in Mu Xiangxiang's body, discovered that Mu Xiangxiang, in his body, had begun handling hotel work. He angrily dragged her out and reprimanded her.
Mu Xiangxiang explained that she felt sorry for Qiao Yuanshan, who had hurt his hand preparing food for Qiao Nan, and had agreed out of sympathy. Qiao Nan retorted that his father had abandoned him and Qiao Rui at Jajun's house to pursue his career, only to bring them back later to inherit the family business. He questioned if such a person understood caring, and scoffed at the "crab-pinched-hand trick" as a way to manipulate her.
Mu Xiangxiang tried to convince him that Qiao Yuanshan's attitude had changed and that he genuinely wanted to teach him. Mu Xiangxiang then tried to appease Qiao Nan by saying she was only managing shopping lists and would stop after completing the current procurement. Seeing her feigned distress, Qiao Nan softened and offered to forgive her if she apologized in Shin-chan's voice. Mu Xiangxiang, unable to do Shin-chan, offered a "loli voice" instead.
Qiao Nan found her adorable act amusing and forgave her, but warned her not to leave the work unfinished, as it would ruin his reputation. Mu Xiangxiang happily agreed. Mu Defeng, Mu Xiangxiang's father, was singing cheerfully while kneading dough. Qiao Nan, in Mu Xiangxiang's body, recorded him on her phone and posted it online, praising his performance. Mu Xiangxiang had never faced such an issue and felt anxious, not knowing what to do.
Qiao Yuanshan arrived, and Jajun and Manager Shi attempted to take some blame, but Qiao Yuanshan held Qiao Nan directly responsible, demanding a solution within a week. Mu Xiangxiang apologized, unsure how to rectify the situation, as the supplier had already allocated their stock elsewhere due to the incorrect delivery date, and imported wines took months to arrive. Unbeknownst to Mu Xiangxiang, her initial data was correct; Jajun had secretly tampered with it, a fact Qiao Rui was aware of.

He then sternly warned Qiao Nan not to repeat such a low-level mistake, emphasizing that not every error would be covered up or easily remedied, and that as a man, he must bear his own burdens. Qiao Nan apologized to everyone. Later, she attempted to give some fruit to a colleague, Manager Wang, to apologize for getting her scolded, but Wang refused. Jajun openly discussed receiving kickbacks for "kicking Bordeaux out of the game" and making Mediterranean Wines the new supplier, confirming Mu Xiangxiang's suspicions that he had changed the procurement data for his own illicit gains. Mu Xiangxiang immediately confronted Qiao Nan (in Mu Xiangxiang's body) with this information, complete with a secret recording she had made.
However, Qiao Nan vehemently refused to believe it, citing Jajun's pivotal role in raising him and Qiao Rui, and his deep-seated trust that Jajun would never betray them. Mu Xiangxiang later visited the noodle stall herself and saw her father joyfully performing, feeling reassured.
Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Mu Xiangxiang (in Qiao Nan's body) decided to confide in Qiao Rui about Jajun's corruption. She played the secret recording for him, explaining her suspicion that Jajun manipulated the procurement order for kickbacks. Qiao Rui, fearing that this information could also expose his own involvement, secretly entered Qiao Nan's (Mu Xiangxiang inside) room to delete the recording from his phone.
While doing so, he discovered Qiao Nan's chat history with Mu Xiangxiang and a hidden love letter from Qiao Nan to "Mu Xiangxiang." Reviewing past events and the unusual behaviors, Qiao Rui suddenly realized the truth: Qiao Nan and Mu Xiangxiang had swapped bodies. Just then, Qiao Nan, in Mu Xiangxiang's body, emerged from the shower, startled to find Qiao Rui in his room.
Qiao Rui, holding the love letter, directly confronted Qiao Nan, in Mu Xiangxiang's body, about the body swap. Realizing Qiao Rui had touched his phone and deleted the recording, Qiao Nan, in Mu Xiangxiang's body, instantly understood that Qiao Rui was in collusion with Jajun. Qiao Rui, without another word, left the room, still holding the love letter. Panicked by the exposure, Qiao Nan (in Mu Xiangxiang's body) called Mu Xiangxiang (in Qiao Nan's body) to strategize.
Mu Xiangxiang was unconcerned about Qiao Rui revealing their body swap, convinced that no one would believe such an outrageous story, referencing a previous incident where a similar claim was dismissed as mental illness. However, she emphasized that Jajun and Qiao Rui's collusion was the critical issue, and Qiao Yuanshan needed to be informed immediately. Qiao Nan admitted he found it difficult to confront his father about family matters, so Mu Xiangxiang bravely offered to speak with Qiao Yuanshan herself.
Alone, Qiao Rui repeatedly reread the love letter, his mind reeling as he grappled with the shocking realization that the person currently inhabiting Qiao Nan's body was not his younger brother.
