> Resúmenes de Hello, My Shining Lover
Ji Mo's decision to end his relationship with Du Guruonan inwardly tormented him, especially when he saw her with Zhao Yucheng. At a gathering, Chen Fei'er pressed a drunk Ji Mo for an explanation about his distant behavior towards Du Guruonan. Ai Li intervened, expressing concern for Ji Mo's well-being and Du Guruonan's potential sadness. Ji Mo, in his drunken state, revealed to Chen Fei'er that he had killed someone, suggesting his past made him unsuitable for Du Guruonan.
Chen Fei'er, though initially startled, dismissed it as a lie to avoid responsibility. Ai Li advised Chen Fei'er against interfering in Ji Mo and Du Guruonan's relationship, stressing that people's true feelings are complex and not for outsiders to judge. He confirmed that Ji Mo, despite closing off his heart, still cared for Du Guruonan but feared hurting her, explaining that Ji Mo hadn't moved past his ex-girlfriend, Su Xiao.
Ai Li reminded Ji Mo that Su Xiao had passed away, urging him to move on. Concerned about Ji Mo's emotional state, Ai Li offered him a place to stay. After dropping Ji Mo off at his home, Chen Fei'er immediately contacted her assistant to investigate Su Xiao, requesting all available information. The next morning, Chen Fei'er visited Du Guruonan, curious about her previous night and asking to see the valuable necklace Zhao Yucheng had given her.
Du Guruonan explained that she returned the necklace to Zhao Yucheng, viewing him purely as a client, and that they simply had drinks and went home separately. Chen Fei'er criticized her for returning such a significant gift, interpreting Zhao Yucheng's gesture as a clear declaration of his interest. Chen Fei'er praised Zhao Yucheng as a rich, handsome, and romantic "diamond man," urging Du Guruonan to seize the opportunity and not dwell on Ji Mo.
Du Guruonan asserted that she was not thinking of Ji Mo, but expressed an unsettling feeling about Zhao Yucheng, describing him as "unreal" and "too perfect" without any discernible flaws, which made her wary. She explained that straightforward people, even if problematic, are easier to handle because their intentions are clear, unlike those like Zhao Yucheng, who appear outwardly calm but may harbor deeper, hidden desires. Chen Fei'er, however, remained convinced that Du Guruonan simply didn't like him.
Du Guruonan then shifted the conversation, stating her main focus was to quickly boost Sida's career. Du Guruonan outlined Sida's upcoming schedule, emphasizing the critical nature of his debut as a singer. Sida, however, was preoccupied with online rumors linking Du Guruonan to Zhao Yucheng for Ruiqi's endorsement, even mentioning a diamond necklace, and accused her of "selling herself."
Du Guruonan strongly refuted this, asserting her integrity and advising Sida not to judge people by superficial information, urging him to use his intellect and heart. She also dismissed his concerns about her personal contacts, reminding him that as a newcomer, he lacked the authority to choose collaborators. Shortly after, Du Guruonan's assistant introduced Shen Qiansha as Sida's new assistant. Sida, recognizing Shen Qiansha from a previous encounter, vehemently rejected her, calling her a "stalker fan" and a troublemaker.
Shen Qiansha, however, insisted she was a friend of Sida's and genuinely sought the assistant position, apologizing for past misbehavior. Du Guruonan initially seemed to agree with Sida, but upon learning privately from her assistant that Shen Qiansha was the daughter of Ruiqi Group's chairman, she immediately changed her mind.
Du Guruonan explained that Shen Qiansha represented a valuable connection for securing Ruiqi's endorsement and that she intended to keep her, anticipating that the demanding nature of the assistant role would soon lead Shen Qiansha to quit. Despite this, Shen Qiansha, eager to be near Sida, arrived at the office earlier than instructed. She explained her lonely upbringing and saw Sida as her only true friend, wanting to understand his world.
Sida found her persistence exasperating but eventually relented, taking her on a crowded public bus ride, where he reflexively protected her during a sudden brake, much to her delight. Meanwhile, Chen Fei'er's assistant informed her that Su Xiao had passed away three years prior from breast cancer. Chen Fei'er then tried to convey this to Du Guruonan over the phone, but Du Guruonan, preoccupied and expecting another call, cut her off, promising to talk later.
Ji Mo, informed by his assistant about Zhao Yucheng's lavish gift to Du Guruonan and rumors of Zhao Yucheng's long-standing affection for her, immediately confronted Zhao Yucheng at Ruiqi Group. Ji Mo demanded to know Zhao Yucheng's intentions with Du Guruonan, emphasizing her importance to him and urging Zhao Yucheng to stay away. Zhao Yucheng, amused by Ji Mo's concern, provocatively suggested Ji Mo admit his love for Du Guruonan.
He then reminded Ji Mo of his past, claiming Ji Mo "carried a life" (referring to Su Xiao's death) and was therefore "unworthy" of love or a relationship with Du Guruonan. Ji Mo challenged Zhao Yucheng to direct his animosity solely at him. Later, Ji Mo called Du Guruonan while she was in a meeting, demanding she distance herself from Zhao Yucheng.
Du Guruonan accused him of jealousy and challenged his right to interfere, listing professional and personal reasons for interacting with Zhao Yucheng, whom she described as accomplished and polite. She accused Ji Mo of hypocrisy, declaring their relationship over, and defiantly stated that Zhao Yucheng was now her boyfriend.
When Ji Mo warned her that Zhao Yucheng was not as simple as she thought, Du Guruonan retorted that Zhao Yucheng, regardless of his complexity, was better than Ji Mo, who claimed their relationship was over yet still interfered with her life. She then declared she was moving on and would be with Zhao Yucheng, promising to send Ji Mo a wedding invitation.
The next day, in the elevator, Shen Qiansha, engrossed in her phone, rudely dismissed Song Zihao, who then criticized her for lacking manners. Shen Qiansha retorted that she was Sida's assistant, not Du Guruonan's, but quickly changed her demeanor and apologized upon realizing Song Zihao was Sida's senior and a prominent company artist. She introduced herself and eagerly added him on WeChat, asking for details about Sida's preferences.
Later, during a meeting to discuss Sida's publicity, Shen Qiansha was visibly distracted, passing notes to Sida that expressed her admiration and boredom. Du Guruonan, proposing a more focused marketing strategy, noticed Shen Qiansha's lack of attention. When asked to summarize the meeting, Shen Qiansha faltered, leading Du Guruonan to publicly criticize her inefficiency and lack of professionalism, stating the workplace demands competence. Sida also agreed that he did not need such an assistant.
Upset, Shen Qiansha retreated to a lounge, where Du Guruonan continued to admonish her, accusing her of deliberately making a fool of herself and lacking the seriousness required for the job. Du Guruonan openly admitted that she only hired Shen Qiansha because she was the daughter of the Ruiqi Group chairman, a valuable connection for Sida's career, but warned that she would remove any obstacle to Sida's success.
She criticized Shen Qiansha for being an arrogant, lazy rich second generation who relies on money, asserting that if Shen Qiansha's value remained limited, her tolerance would be too. Shen Qiansha accused Du Guruonan of prejudice, but Du Guruonan advised her to change herself to earn respect, rather than always relying on her father.
Moments later, Du Guruonan received a call from Zhao Yucheng inviting her to dinner, prompting her to swiftly leave, reiterating to Shen Qiansha that she prioritizes "truly valuable people" and reminding her that being an assistant was not a shortcut to pursue Sida. She gave Shen Qiansha two choices: be a quiet "vase" or a diligent assistant. Shen Qiansha defiantly declared she would not be a "vase" and would work hard to prove her worth to Sida.
Downstairs, Zhao Yucheng arrived to pick up Du Guruonan and encountered Shen Qiansha. He confirmed that he wouldn't inform her father about her escape from an arranged marriage. As they left, Du Guruonan questioned Zhao Yucheng about Shen Qiansha's decision to flee her family's arranged marriage.
Zhao Yucheng stated that Shen Qiansha refused a marriage of convenience, reflecting his view that marriage is fundamentally an exchange of interests, devoid of emotion, and that profit, not love, is eternal in the adult world. Du Guruonan countered, emphasizing that she would never marry for material gain but would instead strive to achieve financial independence to protect the priceless value of love. This perspective visibly impressed Zhao Yucheng.
