> Resúmenes de The Journey of Chongzi
During a sparring match, Chong Zi noticed that Qin Ke seemed distracted. She joked that he shouldn't let her win on purpose, but he admitted his skills were lacking and suggested they both rest. As Qin Ke departed, he quietly pondered the strange sense of familiarity he felt with Chong Zi. Later, a peasant woman approached Chong Zi, claiming to be from Luocheng, a city plagued by the Dragon King. She appeared injured, prompting Chong Zi to offer her medicine.
The woman, who introduced herself as Yin Shuixian, expressed fear of returning to the chaotic city alone, as her gravely ill husband was still there. She pleaded to join Chong Zi's group, promising to follow discreetly from a distance. Chong Zi agreed to speak with her senior. The next morning, Chong Zi relayed the situation to Qin Ke, who gave his consent for Yin Shuixian to follow their team.
Meanwhile, Sima Miaoyuan expressed her displeasure to Luo Yinfan, questioning why Chong Zi was allowed to join the mission. Luo Yinfan defended his decision, stating that he had always intended for Chong Zi, as a Nanhua disciple, to gain practical experience. At the Luohe River, Qin Ke learned from other disciples that the Dragon King was causing widespread havoc, making the river treacherous.
Recognizing the formidable power of the Dragon King, who had cultivated for five centuries and commanded nearly two thousand water demons, Qin Ke decided to split their forces. He would lead one team into Qianchi Cave with the Demon-constraining Silk to confront the Dragon King, while Sima Miaoyuan would lead the other team to secure and assist the displaced civilians.
Chong Zi eagerly volunteered to join Qin Ke's team but was instead assigned to Sima Miaoyuan's group, with Qin Ke emphasizing the need for caution. Shortly after, Chong Zi realized Yin Shuixian had disappeared. While searching for her, she overheard alarming news: Qin Ke and his team had been sucked into Qianchi Cave by the Dragon King and had been missing for hours. Sima Miaoyuan panicked, urging everyone to rush into the cave.
However, Chong Zi calmly interjected, suggesting that a reckless charge would only lead to more casualties and hinder Qin Ke. She proposed seeking reinforcements from the nearby Yunfeng Sect, a trusted ally of Nanhua. As they debated, Yin Shuixian reappeared, now clad in dark attire, sword in hand, her demeanor chillingly hostile. Chong Zi realized with a jolt that Yin Shuixian was a demon.
Yin Shuixian, now openly identifying herself as a protector of the Demon World, was swiftly rebuked by Sima Miaoyuan, who recognized her as a former Tianshan Sect disciple who had betrayed the immortal realm. Their confrontation quickly escalated into a fight, with Sima Miaoyuan proving no match for Yin Shuixian. As Chong Zi joined the fray, Yin Xinmo appeared, instructing Yin Shuixian to retrieve the Dragon King from the river.
Meanwhile, inside Qianchi Cave, Qin Ke wrestled with the Dragon King, who was bound by the Demon-constraining Silk. The Dragon King, noticing the battle outside, urged Qin Ke to aid his fellow disciples, promising he would not flee. Qin Ke was struck by the Dragon King's unexpected nobility, questioning why such a being would harm innocent civilians. The Dragon King denied these accusations, asserting that the true perpetrators were demons and that this conflict was between him and them.
Just as the battle intensified, Luo Yinfan descended, scattering the demon forces. He demanded to know the Dragon King's whereabouts. Qin Ke confessed that he had released the Dragon King after learning the truth: the demons had repeatedly attempted to force the Dragon King to join their ranks. Upon his refusal, they impersonated him, slaughtering civilians in the Luohe region to incite the immortal sects to eliminate him.
Qin Ke explained that the Dragon King harbored no ambition in either the immortal or demon realms, preferring a life of freedom. Luo Yinfan, understanding Qin Ke's decision, granted the Dragon King freedom from allegiance, provided he committed to protecting the tranquility of the Luohe River. He further promised Nanhua's aid should the Dragon King ever face hardship.
Luo Yinfan then addressed Chong Zi, not with anger for her unauthorized descent, but with praise for her composure and prioritization of the greater good during the clash with Yin Shuixian. Chong Zi, overjoyed yet also apprehensive, wondered if Luo Yinfan's kindness stemmed from viewing her as a replacement for a past disciple. Luo Yinfan unequivocally denied this, reassuring her that she was her own unique self.
He gently told her he only wished for her to be safe by his side, valuing nothing else. Later, Luo Yinfan convened with Min Yunzhong and others to discuss the increasing threat from the demon realm and the recent appearance of Wang Yue. Min Yunzhong suggested they first secure an alliance with Tianshan Sect, which would compel Qinghua Palace and Changsheng Palace to join their united front.
Luo Yinfan, citing other matters, decided to send Min Yunzhong and Yu Du ahead to Tianshan, while he planned to follow later, intending to invite Chong Zi to accompany him. In the Demon Palace, Wang Yue received intelligence that the immortal sects were mobilizing towards Tianshan. He entrusted Yin Xinmo with the Resting Soil, ordering him to orchestrate a coordinated assault on Tianshan from within and outside.
Wang Yue vaguely mentioned a loyal subordinate who would assist Yin Xinmo, a figure whose seniority far surpassed his own. A flashback revealed Yin Shuixian tenderly caring for her ailing husband, the reincarnation of Xueling, before leaving him to fulfill her demonic mission, having hypnotized him to sleep. Over the next few days, Chong Zi dedicated herself to cultivation, making significant progress. She found herself frequently dreaming of Luo Yinfan, a development that stirred new emotions within her.
When Luo Yinfan finally invited her to join him on the journey to Tianshan, she was ecstatic, cherishing the prospect of traveling alone with him. Their journey proved challenging, with harsh weather and relentless snow. Luo Yinfan gently brushed snowflakes from Chong Zi's hair, adjusted her cloak, and held her hand as they ascended the snowy peaks.
Upon their arrival at the magnificent Tianshan Sect, perched majestically on the mountain's summit, they were greeted by Yue Qiao, the chief disciple, and Su Xiaoxiao. The disciples informed them that Min Yunzhong was already in discussions with Lord Lan. They spoke of the Tianshan Sect's renowned beauty and its historical origins, founded by Patriarch Yuanzhi, who drew inspiration from the snow to forge its unique swordsmanship.
Lord Lan, along with the Master of Qinghua Palace, appeared somewhat taken aback to learn that Luo Yinfan had accepted another disciple named Chong Zi. Later, as Chong Zi and Yan Zhenzhu engaged in a playful snowball fight, their mirth was abruptly interrupted by an annoyed Sima Miaoyuan. Min Yunzhong, observing the commotion, reprimanded Sima Miaoyuan for the unseemly behavior before ordering both girls to their rooms for self-reflection.
Qin Ke, however, intervened on Chong Zi's behalf, offering to personally instruct her on Tianshan's customs. After Min Yunzhong departed, Chong Zi inquired with Qin Ke about the "scandal" Lord Lan had alluded to earlier. Qin Ke revealed that Yin Shuixian, once a respected Tianshan disciple, had been deeply in love with her master, Sage Xueling.
When Sage Xueling perished in the Immortal-Demon War at Heavenly Lake, Yin Shuixian stole his body and subsequently embraced demonhood, an act that brought indelible shame upon the entire immortal sect. Chong Zi pondered the motivations behind such an act, finding it difficult to reconcile love with body snatching, and decided not to dwell on the unsettling mystery.
Qin Ke then offered to take her to Plum Blossom Ridge for some undisturbed fun later, mentioning it was a place the sages typically avoided. While building a snowman alone, Chong Zi encountered Zhuo Hao, the Young Master of Qinghua Palace, who lightheartedly teased her for being idle. However, upon hearing Chong Zi introduce herself, Zhuo Hao's demeanor hardened.
He angrily declared that she was unworthy of the name "Chong Zi" and questioned Luo Yinfan's audacity in giving it to her. He commanded her to convey a message to Luo Yinfan: he would personally settle accounts with him one day. Chong Zi, protective of her master, warned Zhuo Hao not to harm him. Zhuo Hao dismissed her with contempt, reiterating her supposed unworthiness of the name before roughly pushing her aside. Confused and hurt, Chong Zi was left to wonder about the hidden significance and controversy surrounding her name.
