Sun Xun genuinely thanks Lin Shaochun for her invaluable contributions to the Sun family's prosperity. During a conversation with Sun Xun, Lin Shaochun accidentally drops a 'Dong Jiao Zhu' ornament. Sun Xun immediately recognizes it as belonging to Liu Sanjue, an opera performer, and inquires about her whereabouts. This triggers a flashback to Sun Xun's youth.
