> Resumos de Generation to Generation
During the memorial ceremony at the Qingque Sect, Cai Zhao notices an old woman carrying the scent of Breeze wine. She exposes the woman as Luo Yuanrong, a former disciple of Taichu Temple. Confronted by the leaders of the six major sects, a grieving Luo Yuanrong reveals that seventeen years ago, Qiu Yuanfeng conspired with the demon sect to frame his senior brother, Wu Yuanying, to steal the position of sect leader.
Seeking vengeance, Luo Yuanrong uses the hidden weapon "Rain of Thunder" to kill both herself and Qiu Yuanfeng. Before he dies, Chang Ning attempts to question him about the massacre of the Chang clan, but Qiu Yuanfeng expires. Luo Yuanrong then carries the paralyzed Wu Yuanying and leaps from a cliff to join him in death.
In the aftermath, Lei Xiuming is devastated by the loss of his old companions and the broken bond of brotherhood once shared with Cai Pingshu. Meanwhile, Uncle Zhou Zhizhen urges Cai Zhao to leave the martial arts world and fulfill her aunt's wish by marrying Zhou Yuqi, but Cai Zhao remains troubled by the many secrets still hidden in the Jianghu.
Chang Ning also suspects that Qiu Yuanfeng was merely a pawn and vows to find the true mastermind behind the tragedies. Despite the heavy atmosphere, Yang Xiaolan remains dedicated to her training, believing that the path of righteousness is never a mistake. Sensing danger, Qi Yunke advises Chang Ning to leave the sect for his safety, but the Qingque Sect is suddenly ambushed by the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches Camp of the demon sect.
Investigating the initial attack, Cai Zhao recognizes the sword marks as the thirteenth move of Taichu Swordsmanship, realizing that Wu Xiong and Wu Gang are internal traitors. She rushes to warn Qi Yunke and helps him fend off an assassination attempt by Wu Xiong, though Qi Yunke is forced to seal his own acupoints to suppress a poisoned blade wound. The violence spreads as Wu Gang leads the demon sect in a brutal slaughter of the disciples.
He confronts Song Yuzhi, expressing a deep-seated hatred for Song’s grandfather, Yin Dai, and strikes Song with the "Nether Aura," a cold poison that leaves him gravely injured. Cai Zhao intervenes with her Sunshine Blade to protect her senior brother. As another traitor, Wu Ping, prepares to reveal the truth behind Cai Pingshu's death, Qi Lingbo silences him with a well-aimed arrow. As Song Yuzhi recovers, he is left with only a fraction of his internal energy.
Qi Lingbo tries to force her attention on him with medicinal soups and a special herbal bath, but Cai Zhao arrives to send her away, giving Song the solitude he desires. Reports arrive that other sects were also ambushed, and the Zhou family of Peiqiong Manor was among those attacked. Cai Zhao and Chang Ning realize that Luo Yuanrong had been unknowingly used by a mastermind to plant traitors within their walls.
The following morning, Cai Zhao discovers that her fifth senior brother, Fan Xingjia, has vanished. Noticing his unmade bed—highly unusual for his wealthy background—she deduces he was kidnapped. To search the town without alerting enemies, she and Chang Ning descend the mountain. Cai Zhao disguises herself as a local girl named Cuihua and goes door-to-door distributing "joyous eggs" for a supposed newborn sister.
She identifies a suspicious house where the inhabitants are ignorant of local customs and finds them to be masters in disguise. Inside, they discover that the kidnappers have forced Qian Xueshen, a descendant of the Thousand-Face Sect, to use his transformation techniques to create an impostor of Fan Xingjia. Just as the villains prepare to kill the real Fan Xingjia, Cai Zhao and Chang Ning strike to save him, only to be confronted by a mysterious figure in black.
