At first, Cao Fan was eager to try, but after the teacher asked a few questions, her spoken English and translation skills were clearly inferior to Qing Ye's. Thus, Qing Ye rightfully secured the role of host.
Qing Ye's outstanding foreign language skills also successfully caught the attention of a wealthy student in her class, Xiao Ye. He came from a rich family and had excellent academic performance. After school, Xiao Ye took the initiative to approach Qing Ye and introduced himself, mentioning that he was also involved in the welcoming event and hoped to learn more from her in the future.
