Despite her aspirations to be a beauty blogger, she is forced to livestream selling ham on the Baleflatform. She initially performs reluctantly, reading scripts emotionlessly and even advising viewers against buying the high-salt product, resulting in sales seven times lower than other streamers.
Her boss, Mr. Wu, acknowledges her dream but challenges her to first prove her capabilities by successfully selling ham, demonstrating her dedication. Recalling Duan Jiabao's earlier advice against signing contracts easily, Liang Shuang, motivated by not wanting to be looked down upon, dedicates herself to the livestreaming. Her sales soar, reaching the company's number one spot, and she decides to replace her current agent with Duan Jiabao. Her agent, however, had privately posted a ham livestream ad on her Weibo.
Meanwhile, Puling experiences internal disagreements regarding its investment in Hongcha. Zhou Xun argues strongly for the deal and eventually entrusts the contract to Jiang Xiaoguo to secure Director Ding's signature. Director Ding, however, is attending a team-building event and promises to sign the next morning. Jiang Xiaoguo, agreeing to the delay, instead joins Luo Yan and Duan Jiabao at a hotel party, where she texts Duan Zhenyu about her gift.
The following morning, Jiang Xiaoguo discovers Director Ding has signed with Puling's competitor, Gaoding. Rushing to Hongcha, she learns that Gaoding offered 10 million yuan more than Puling and their representatives had followed Director Ding to his team-building event, waiting until 2 AM to secure the deal, while Jiang Xiaoguo was at the hotel. This incident makes her realize the time-sensitive nature of venture capital.
Feeling responsible for the failed project, Jiang Xiaoguo goes to apologize to Zhou Xun but is quickly dismissed, heavily worried about being fired. Unbeknownst to her, Puling executive Mark, furious about the Hongcha failure, wants to dismiss her. However, Zhou Xun intervenes, believing Jiang Xiaoguo is competent and shouldn't be the target of Mark's anger, and recommends her to Director Chen's team. Su Hang is surprised by Zhou Xun's rare praise.
After completing her postgraduate exam, Luo Yan is met by Duan Jiabao, who takes her to a luxurious sea-view hotel suite. Excited, Luo Yan records a video for Jiang Xiaoguo, urging her to join them. At the hotel, she suggests inviting Lu Ran to KTV the next day, and later, during a conversation, accidentally reveals her feelings for him, amusing Jiang Xiaoguo.

Duan Jiabao, who had previously helped Liang Shuang despite an injured leg and warned her about signing contracts, organizes a party to celebrate Luo Yan's exam completion, which also coincides with Duan Zhenyu's birthday. She admits to Luo Yan that she overheard Xiong Zhi's confession of feelings but pretended not to hear to avoid awkwardness. She has since been avoiding Xiong Zhi and is uncertain about her own feelings for him.
At the party, Duan Jiabao appears hesitant to approach Liang Shuang. Duan Zhenyu, excitedly opening multiple packages, finds all the cards signed "Xinxin." Annoyed that the gifts are not from Jiang Xiaoguo, he throws them all out. Later, after receiving Jiang Xiaoguo's text asking about her gift, he realizes her present was among the discarded items. He rushes out, even in a bathrobe, to retrieve her simple back scratcher from the trash, which, despite its plainness, fills him with joy.
Duan Zhenyu attends the party organized by Duan Jiabao. Before he leaves, Mojie asks about Jiang Xiaoguo's whereabouts, but Duan Zhenyu informs him she already has a boyfriend and he should give up. At the KTV segment of the party, Duan Zhenyu orders a song hoping to sing with Jiang Xiaoguo, but she remains gloomy due to her professional setbacks. After singing briefly with Duan Jiabao, he approaches Jiang Xiaoguo to talk.
Unable to comfort her effectively regarding the Hongcha incident and her worries about being fired, he is suddenly embraced by an excited Jiang Xiaoguo upon her receiving news of a favorable personnel transfer to Director Chen's team. Having seen her post on WeChat Moments about her broken canvas bag, he buys her a new one. Later, Liang Shuang, Jiang Xiaoguo, Luo Yan, and Duan Jiabao all attend a KTV party, each with their own thoughts and concerns. Jiang Xiaoguo, upon receiving news of her transfer, joyfully hugs Duan Zhenyu, feeling a huge weight lifted from her shoulders.
