Hearing this, Jiang Yuanxing gradually softens, understanding his difficult circumstances. However, learning of Jiang Yuanxing's disappearance deeply affects him, igniting a fierce determination to uncover the truth and avenge her. He suspects Lin Zhenhui played a pivotal role and believes she holds crucial information. Cheng Cheng contacts Gao Zijian, who is shocked to discover he is alive. Cheng Cheng proposes a partnership, offering to relinquish all his claims to Gao Guangyi's inheritance as a show of good faith. Gao Zijian accepts the offer.
Cheng Cheng then outlines three conditions for their alliance: first, the Swan Charity Project must be maintained; second, Gao Zijian must help him investigate Lin Zhenhui; and third, they must work together to expose and lure out the true mastermind behind all the recent events.
