Sinopsis
Sun Jian (Judah Shaw), an unemployed college graduate, is unexpectedly transported back in time to the ancient Great Qian Dynasty, where he becomes an impoverished scholar barely able to make ends meet. What should have been a disastrous start takes a bizarre turn when the imperial court, in an effort to collect grain taxes, forcibly assigns wives to unmarried young men.
Expecting nothing more than an unattractive arranged marriage, Sun Jian is shocked to discover that among the candidates are a royal princess in disguise, the legitimate daughter of a prestigious military family, and the eldest daughter of a wealthy merchant clan. Just as he struggles to decide which one to choose, a mysterious system suddenly appears and forcibly binds all three women to him as his wives.
The rules are simple yet daunting: only by increasing each wife's affection toward him can he unlock abundant rewards. Left with no choice, Sun Jian marries all three and embarks on an unusual journey—using his sincerity and “husband skills” to win their hearts, gain their favor, and ultimately change his fate.
