Sinopsis
Genius programmer Yang Can, together with his partner Gu Mingcheng, secretly develops an “immersive narrative experience system” based on brain-computer interface technology. The original motivation behind this system is Yang Can himself—a socially awkward, emotionally inexpressive “straightforward tech guy”—who wants to fulfill his girlfriend Ye Bingbing’s wish of experiencing a romance like in idol dramas.
To surprise his girlfriend, Yang Can, with the help of his teammate Liu Jiesen, conceals his connection to the system. Under the pretense of a work assignment, he invites editor Ye Bingbing to participate in the system. His plan is to propose to her and reveal the truth when she reaches the end of the experience.
