Sinopsis
Yao Qi was once a highly decorated, award-winning actor. But after becoming entangled in a series of scandals, he watches his career collapse and finds himself plagued by severe insomnia. While filming a reality show set on a remote island, he unexpectedly reunites with his high school classmate Yang Meng, now the captain of a rescue team. To his astonishment, the moment he shares a bed with Yang Meng, the insomnia that has tormented him for so long miraculously disappears.
Using a “sleep aid” as an excuse, Yao Qi embarks on a series of carefully planned pursuits, trying to close the distance between himself and the emotionally reserved Yang Meng. Yet through encounters that are both orchestrated and accidental, spontaneous and beyond control, his feelings begin to shift—from simply wanting to sleep beside someone, to falling in love with the person who sleeps beside him.
As the dreamlike reality show draws to an end, the two are forced to face a real test. Only then do they realize that, in this so-called trap of love, they have already fallen hopelessly and irreversibly for each other.
