> Resúmenes de Lost in The Kunlun Mountains
Having successfully navigated the formation, Ding Yunqi and an injured Sun Sanxuan made their escape from the dangerous location. Sun Sanxuan praised Ding Yunqi for his skill, calling his technique "Bright Fire Shows the Way," and Ding Yunqi promised Zhou Qiuhai that they would settle scores later. Zhou Qiuhai, convinced that Ding Yuanshan was nearby, ordered his disciples to pursue them relentlessly. Luo Jiutian, eager to impress, volunteered to lead his men to follow Ding Yunqi.
Nearby, Luo Yunsong's subordinate noted that Ding Yunqi had single-handedly broken Zhou Qiuhai's tactics, proving himself worthy of being the next Heaven Official. Luo Yunsong, the Director of the Shanghai Police Station, had already deployed his men at surrounding intersections as instructed.
Believing Ding Yunqi could not evade Zhou Qiuhai for long and that Ding Yuanshan would likely not appear, Luo Yunsong felt his presence was no longer necessary and decided to return home to prepare sweet dumplings for Chu Fengling, anticipating an easy capture once the dust settled. As Ding Yunqi and Sun Sanxuan fled, Sun Sanxuan gave Ding Yunqi a vital item from his father, telling him it was extremely important but there was no time to explain.
Before they could find a safe place, they were intercepted by Luo Jiutian and his police force. Sun Sanxuan, surprised by the police, was told by Ding Yunqi that they were after him. Luo Jiutian engaged Ding Yunqi, mocking his white clothes and his leaf-throwing martial arts. Ding Yunqi retorted with an offer to teach Luo Jiutian if he became his son. As their skirmish intensified, Luo Jiutian threatened to kill Sun Sanxuan if Ding Yunqi resisted.
Faced with this threat, Ding Yunqi agreed to go to the police station. He then called out to Wu Shuang, who had been hiding with other Penta-sect members. Hua Xingchen, a fellow disciple, warned Wu Shuang not to respond, but recognizing her old acquaintance, she insisted on helping despite Hua Xingchen's protests. Wu Shuang appeared, and Luo Jiutian, immediately smitten by her beauty, declared her unparalleled and boldly proposed marriage on the spot.
Wu Shuang playfully taunted him before Ding Yunqi made a crucial request. He handed Wu Shuang the vital item from his father, instructing her to safeguard it and promising to retrieve it himself later. Wu Shuang, curious about the "legendary" item, agreed to his request, confirming her address at the Taiyi Private Bank in Shunxin Alley before departing with a skillful leap that impressed Luo Jiutian. Suddenly, a masked figure threw smoke bombs, engulfing the scene in chaos.
Ding Yunqi seized the opportunity to escape with Sun Sanxuan. Luo Jiutian, disoriented by the smoke and annoyed by the turn of events, was left to ponder how to explain their escape to Luo Yunsong. Ding Yunqi brought Sun Sanxuan to the bell tower, where they found refuge. Fortunately, Sun Sanxuan's injuries were not severe. Sun Sanxuan revealed that the package Zhou Qiuhai had seized contained a fake dragon bone.
The real Snow Mountain Dragon Bones, an heirloom of the Ding family, consisted of two pieces and were only useful together, their secrets known only to the Ding family. He further explained that Kunlun was the foundation of the Penta-sect, housing its ancient treasures, and was always managed by the Ding family. Only Ding Yuanshan knew its exact location.
Sun Sanxuan explained that he had deciphered Ding Yunqi's newspaper notice—which mentioned Ding Yunqi falling into the dock at the age of eight, a story Ding Yuanshan had previously told him—as a signal to meet at the dock. Their rendezvous, however, had been compromised, leading to the ambush. Ding Yunqi, reflecting on the masked individual who threw the smoke bombs, suspected it might have been his father.
Sun Sanxuan dismissed the idea, stating that if Master Ding were truly there, he would have easily dealt with their pursuers and would have certainly met with them. Ding Yunqi inferred that his newspaper announcement had inadvertently drawn the attention of many factions, including Zhou Qiuhai and the police, all seeking to use him to locate his father. Meanwhile, Luo Jiutian faced Luo Yunsong's wrath for failing his assignment.
Luo Yunsong chastised him, reminding him that despite not being blood relatives, their adoptive father treated them all as his own, and he considered Luo Jiutian a real brother. Chu Fengling intervened, urging Luo Yunsong to calm down. Curious about the commotion, she asked Luo Yunsong about Ding Yunqi.
Luo Yunsong explained that Ding Yunqi's father, Ding Yuanshan, was the Kunlun Heaven Official of the Penta-sect, a martial arts sect from the Northern Song Dynasty known for raiding imperial tombs, hence their other name, the Dragon-seeking Penta-sect. He mentioned that in recent centuries, the Penta-sect had diversified: Zhou Qiuhai of the Mound-digging sect operated a private bank, and the Ghoul sect ran an escort agency, while the Mountain-demounting and Mountain-moving sects had vanished.
Luo Yunsong scoffed at Ding Yuanshan's pretense of archaeology, suggesting he was still only interested in grave artifacts. Later that morning, Luo Yunsong and Luo Jiutian arrived at the Taiyi Private Bank. Luo Yunsong had confirmed that his men and Xue Dingfeng's were in position. He had pressed Luo Jiutian to retrieve the item Ding Yunqi gave to Wu Shuang, and Luo Jiutian assured his brother he would succeed.
Outside the bank, Luo Jiutian tried to intimidate Hua Xingchen, inquiring about tomb raiding and zombies. Inside, Luo Yunsong confronted Zhou Qiuhai, announcing his intention to discuss a "deal." He brandished a government decree for the nationwide elimination of tomb raiders—justified by General Sun's recent desecration of the East Tomb—allowing for on-the-spot execution without trial.
Zhou Qiuhai, feigning innocence as a mere bank owner, was pressured by Luo Yunsong, who insinuated his knowledge of Zhou Qiuhai's true identity as "Sect Leader Zhou" of the Mound-digging sect. Luo Yunsong declared his purpose was to help Zhou Qiuhai deal with his "family matters" within the Penta-sect. He revealed his intention to use Wu Shuang as bait to lure Ding Yunqi, promising her safe return regardless of the outcome. Zhou Qiuhai, appalled by the plan, vehemently refused.
Though Ding Yunqi was not a Penta-sect member, he was a descendant of the Heaven Official. Zhou Qiuhai refused to participate in such a "deal" to capture a member of the Ding family, declaring he would rather die for the Penta-sect's honor than participate in such an act.
Back at the bell tower, Sun Sanxuan urged Ding Yunqi to accept his destiny as the next Heaven Official, explaining that Ding Yuanshan's transmission of the Lihuo Dragon Sceptre and the Snow Mountain Dragon Bones—the weapon and heirloom of the Heaven Officials—was a clear sign of his intention.
Ding Yunqi recounted a childhood promise to his mother to never join the Penta-sect or become the Heaven Official, a vow he made after learning how the role deprived Heaven Officials' mothers of their children, making them men who couldn't even protect their own families. He angrily rejected the "fate" that cost men their mothers, asserting, "My fate is up to me. I'd rather die than join the Penta-sect."
Frustrated, Sun Sanxuan questioned why Ding Yunqi bothered to publish a notice to find his father if he refused the position. He tried to reclaim the Dragon Sceptre and dragon bone to return them to Ding Yuanshan, but Ding Yunqi stopped him. Ding Yunqi explained that while he opposed and detested the Penta-sect, his actions were not directed at his father, his only remaining family.
He reaffirmed that regardless of whether he became Heaven Official, he remained Ding Yuanshan's son and would oversee his father's affairs, reminding Sun Sanxuan that his father's letter instructed him to follow Ding Yunqi's directives. Ding Yunqi then told Sun Sanxuan to rest while he went to retrieve the remaining dragon bone, asserting that since he was not the Heaven Official, Sun Sanxuan did not have to follow his orders.
