The new 2024 school season begins, and the quirky families embark on another round of joyful growth. Without the help of elderly relatives, Liu Xiangshang and Dai Jing have to juggle work and parenting. Guo Ning goes to great lengths and uses every trick in the book to campaign for class monitor, while Guo Bao's overly laid-back attitude frustrates their parents. To support Dai Jing's work, Liu Xiangshang finds himself dealing with parent groups, childcare groups, neighborhood chats, and extracurricular class groups—so much so that he temporarily bans the word "group" at home.
With Jing Tingting giving birth to her third child, Yang Mingbiao faces even greater responsibilities: managing his eldest son Fifteen's studies while caring for the newborn. Conflict arises when Fifteen, after graduating from middle school, expresses his desire to study abroad. Meanwhile, Tang Xiaowei decides to start her own business with Ma Yingjie's assurance, but he pushes further, proposing reconciliation and even a second child. Xiaowei hesitates due to Ma Yingjie's passive approach to life.
New events unfold daily in these three families. Through trials and errors, the parents eventually find a balance between work and family. Guo Ning successfully graduates and enters middle school, Fifteen and Yang Mingbiao resolve their conflicts, and Fifteen goes abroad to study. Ma Yingjie finds a job and becomes busy, and before they know it, all the children have grown up.
