In the era backdrop of the Shanghai French Concession during the 1920s and 1930s, a series of bizarre and eerie cases unfolds: a renowned Peking Opera performer found blood-soaked onstage, a "Cannibalistic Ghost Mother" luring away infants, strange murders in a brothel's locked room, successive unexplained deaths in a hospital, a female corpse discovered during an opening ceremony, and hidden grievances emerging in a secluded town...
