The Devil between Us
The Devil between Us is a crime thriller drama, directed by Teng Huatao, starring Ren Suxi and Wang Xiao, with Cai Wenjing and Li Zefeng in leading roles. The cast also includes Wang Youjun, Dong Qing, Ye Zuxin, Jie Bing, Lan Xiya, Li Min, Yue Yang, Wei Zixin, Yao Yiqi, Wang Daqi, and Gao Shuguang.

In the tightly knit coastal town of Nuanhai, the intricate web of acquaintances is shattered when a mysterious bag of drugs suddenly disappears, setting off a “suicide-style crime.”
Female detective Hu Wenjing is accidentally drawn into a drug deal gone wrong; Cheng Ken, an ordinary father, is willing to pay any price to save his daughter; Li Xiaoya, an ambitious young woman, is desperate to escape the confines of small-town life; and Wang Ping is consumed by drugs and led down a dark path.
As desire and greed spin their cocoon, they entangle everyone in a fierce confrontation between justice and human nature.
