Reborn, she makes a bold decision on her wedding day to marry Ning Su instead. As they grow closer, they join forces to take down their enemies.
During this time, Shen Nanqiao discovers Ning Su's secret—he is not a real eunuch, but a prince in hiding, who had infiltrated the palace to investigate the truth behind his mother's death.
Together, they ally with the crown prince to defeat the empress and the Ninth Prince's faction.
