Singer Jin Xi takes a risky leap into acting, only to be mocked nationwide for his poor performance.
Unwilling to give up, he switches to musical theater, determined to turn things around and prove everyone wrong.
By chance, he meets the cool and rigorous director Ning Jin—and they share an unexpected, ambiguous kiss before coming face to face again at an audition.
Ning Jin, who has little respect for idol actors, pushes Jin Xi to his limits with intensive training. Despite being sidelined by senior cast members, targeted by rivals, and facing public pressure, Jin Xi perseveres.
Through daily practice and self-reflection, he sheds his idol image and slowly wins over the cold director and the rest of the troupe.
Along the way, they face misunderstandings, career setbacks, family issues, and the pain of separation.
But as they work side by side to save the struggling theater, rehearse the Opera, and overcome stage crises, their feelings for each other grow—and they begin to heal one another.
