However, their happiness was cut short when Master Yan forcibly took Ling Long to a secret room. Master Yan explained that for 18 years he had suspected the Southern Chu royal family of involvement in Xueyin's death, and he had taken up his post in Western Turk specifically to investigate. Now, with the Wolf King's power manifesting in Ling Long, he felt his suspicions were confirmed.
