Qiao Ning (Joanna) was an orphan. At six years old, she was adopted by Dai Huaimin, and for a time, she believed she finally had a father and a home. But everything changed when the Dai family’s biological daughter returned. Qiao Ning was cast aside and even sent to prison, left with nothing but a cold sentence: “Qiao Ning, after all, you’re not my real daughter.”
