Tales of Wumeng
Tales of Wumeng is a contemporary rural drama directed by Han Xiaojun, written by Ouyang Qiansen, led by Mao Xiaotong and Qin Junjie, co-starring Lin Jiangguo, Wang Hong, Jin Feng, Xu Baihui, with special appearances by Du Yuan, Li Hongtao, Zhao Shuzhen, etc.
Adapted from Ouyang Qiansen's novel "Mo Dao Jun Xing Zao (莫道君行早)", the plot centers on the transformation of the "Xian Ya Village" in Wumeng Mountain, Guizhou.
It follows two main storylines: Gun Yueliang, a Miao embroidery inheritor turning her craft into an economic industry, and Ma Qinghao, a returning youth leading the "Three Grasses of Wumeng" group in developing cultural tourism. Through the intertwined fates of three groups of characters, it showcases Guizhou's efforts in rural revitalization.

Ma Qinghao, Wu Ai'cao, and Gun Changpu, known as the "Three Grasses of Wumeng," have achieved remarkable success in developing planting, breeding, and cultural tourism integration, becoming leaders in the village's prosperity.
Gun Yueliang, Long Fengbi, and other embroiderers have transformed their fingertip skills into a thriving economy, gaining fame as inheritors of the intangible cultural heritage of Miao embroidery. Their products have reached beyond the village, spreading nationwide and even globally.
However, the path of industrial development has not been smooth. Effectively linking the consolidation of poverty alleviation achievements with rural revitalization strategies is the historical responsibility and mission of village cadres like Xiao Baihe and Yang Guoyong.
Under their guidance and support, the Xian Ya village's primary, secondary, and tertiary industries have advanced together, continuously upgrading the beautiful countryside and enhancing the villagers' sense of happiness and fulfillment.
