On the day they register their marriage, her "almost-stranger husband" leaves behind a bank card and flies overseas for business.
With her father favoring another woman's daughter and the family inheritance hanging in the balance, the independent and resilient Su Li steps forward to protect her mother's legacy and take on the burden of the family business, determined to claim the power and future that rightfully belong to her.
After marriage, the disciplined and devoted Zhou Sichen remains steadfast in protecting his wife. Little by little, he breaks through Su Li’s emotional walls.
