Peace and Joy
Peace and Joy is an urban romance drama, directed by Chen Yuejin, and starring Chen Xinhai, Zhang Miaoyi, Xia Haoran, and He Qiu, with a special appearance by Huang Shengchi.
The series is inspired by the novel of the same name by Po Nao Dai. It tells the story of Cheng Lele and Chen An, who, after being reunited, resolve their misunderstandings, reconcile, and revitalize the Xingchen Cinema, while also bringing their families back together in harmony.

Sinopse
Cheng Lele and Chen An were a couple in college. After Cheng's father passed away unexpectedly, the two families became estranged. In order to comfort her mother, Cheng Lele made the painful decision to break up with Chen An and take on the responsibility of supporting the family. Years later, Cheng Lele is assigned to manage the struggling Xingchen Cinema back in her hometown, where she unexpectedly reunites with Chen An—now the president of the corporation that invests in the cinema.
In order to save her job and the cinema, Cheng Lele must navigate working closely with her ex. Together, they tackle multiple crises at the cinema, resolve the misunderstandings from their past, and rekindle their romance. As a result, Xingchen Cinema is reborn as a new city landmark, and both families are reunited in peace and happiness.
