Xu Zhiwei was born with a rare condition of reverse aging—growing younger instead of older. Since her birth in the 1970s, she has been regarded as a “freak” by society, with only her adoptive mother, Xu Ying, offering her warmth and unconditional love.
She falls in love with her childhood sweetheart, Jiang Jinghe, and the two remain devoted to each other despite the dissonance of their mismatched timelines. Yet fate plays cruel tricks on them, forcing repeated separations.
