Only the River Flows
Only the River Flows is a suspense film directed by Wei Shujun, led by Zhu Yilong, co-starring Zeng Mei Hui Zi, Hou Tianlai and Tong Linkai.
Adapted from Yu Hua's novel of the same name, the film tells the story of a mysterious murder case involving multiple suspects, in which police captain Ma Zhe is tweaked by unspeakable truths, and is gradually plunged into moments and memories that are absurd, disturbing, and indistinguishable from the real ones.
