Shining Just For You is a fantasy historical romantic drama directed by Chung Shu Kai, led by Feng Shaofeng and Peng Xiaoran, co-starring Zhu Zhengting, Cheng Xiaomeng, Jin Zehao, and Liu Mengrui.
The drama is adapted from Zan An's novel "九州·朱颜记", and tells the story of the wise and mighty Emperor Yu Xiuming of the Great Chao Dynasty, who encounters the resilient and determined Ye Lingshuang, a captive woman from the Ye Bei tribe, on his path to unification. Despite their different origins, they share the same compassion for the people and the world. Overcoming hatred and joining hands, they punish corrupt officials, construct the Yunwang Canal, and ultimately achieve the "Great Unification" of the Noveland, bringing peace and prosperity to all ethnic groups.

Sinopse
The grassland maiden Ye Lingshuang, who could foresee disasters, was regarded as a cursed star by her clan—only Qihai Rui, the princess of Yebei, treated her as a true sister. When Yebei recklessly declared war against the Great Chao Dynasty, its defeat led to the annihilation of its army, and Ye Lingshuang was captured and sent to the Jiaofangsi (a government-run entertainment bureau). Yet she refused to yield. Relying on her gift of astrological divination, she entered the Imperial Astronomical Bureau as an official, gradually earning the favor of the iron-willed Emperor Yu Xiuming.
Just as their bond deepened, Ye Lingshuang learned of Qihai Rui’s death and severed ties with Yu Xiuming.
