With her exceptional cooking skills, Lu Zhiyu gradually helps Shang Yu regain his appetite. Her sincerity, kindness, and warmth soon win his heart as well. Although Shang Yu openly shows his affection, Lu Zhiyu avoids his advances, believing that the gap between their social statuses makes a relationship impossible—and she is reluctant to give up her well-paying job.
Time and again, she becomes the target of schemes and misunderstandings, but Shang Yu always stands by her side and protects her.
