To escape her family's control, Peng Mai agrees to a flash marriage with Shang Zhan, a man she has never met, through the introduction of her longtime family friend, Shang Yuanhong. Concealing his true identity as a powerful CEO, Shang Zhan pretends to be an ordinary office worker and constantly tests her with sarcasm and deliberate provocation.
