Sinopse
Fuzhou's Changle County was the gathering and training base for Admiral Zheng He's legendary voyages, where fleets awaited favorable winds to set sail. While maritime trade languished elsewhere under the coastal maritime, Changle thrived as a bustling hub.
Its prosperity, however, attracted rampant pirates raids along the coast. Pei You'an, a Shenji Battalion commander tasked with procuring firearms for the treasure fleet, was invited to join a coastal patrol—only to stumble upon a fierce naval battle. Pirate ships had ambushed merchant vessels, including one belonging to Zhen Jiafu, a gifted firework artisan. Thus began their fateful encounter.
To help Jiafu escape a forced marriage, Pei You'an entered into a contract marriage with her. Through trials and mutual understanding, their bond deepened, and after weathering countless hardships, they ultimately found true love.
