Sinopse
In the 1970s, the ambitious hat factory worker, Fei Ni, was determined to change her fate through education and dreamed of attending university. Her junior high school classmate, Fang Mu Yang, became a hero for his brave act of saving someone, though he was injured in the process. Fei Ni took the initiative to care for him, hoping to do a good deed and be recommended for university, but her hopes were repeatedly dashed.
The pressures of reality mounted. In order to help her brother solve the problem of housing for his marriage, Fei Ni proposed a fake marriage with Fang Mu Yang to get a house. After many ups and downs, they finally got their own home, becoming a small couple who slept in bunk beds. Together, they faced difficulties, encouraged each other to pursue their dreams, and although their journey was filled with setbacks, a romantic connection gradually grew in the midst of their simple and warm life.
Eventually, Fei Ni achieved her dream of attending university, and Fang Mu Yang realized his dream of becoming a painter. Together, they continued on the path of a happy life and a bright future.
