Yunchu's Vengeance is a historical romance drama starring Esther Yu and Zhang Yunlong.
The drama is adapted from Zhao Yun Zi's novel of the same name. It tells the story of Yun Chu, a legitimate daughter of a general's family, who was betrayed and poisoned to death in her previous life. After being reborn, she vows revenge and joins forces with Prince Chu Yi to navigate political schemes in both the court and noble households, ultimately putting down a rebellion.

Sinopsis
In her past life, Yun Chu, the daughter of a noble family, married down to a poor household. She dedicated herself to helping her husband succeed and shielding his family from harm. In return, she was betrayed, poisoned, and saw her entire family slaughtered. She swore that if she were given another life, she would make her betrayers suffer a hundredfold.
Breaking free from the endless cycle of fate, she returns with gentleness as her blade and coldness as her shield. Every move is calculated as she quietly stirs the political currents of the court. In this new life, she must not only take revenge on her betrayers but also protect four children, each with their own unique skills, who have come into her care. She will make those who wronged her pay in blood—and also learn to live for herself in this chaotic world.
She and Prince Chu Yi—who appears idle but in fact commands great military power—move from testing each other to forming an alliance. In the end, they join forces to suppress a rebellion, break the cycle of fate, and break through worldly constraints to have a happy ending.
