Sinopsis
This is an absurd story about "the son 'died,' and the father became 'famous'". Ma Yinbo is a high school Chinese teacher, and as he reaches middle age, he doesn't seem to have much going for him.
When his son, Ma Mo, supposedly "commits suicide" by falling from a building, Ma Yinbo writes a brilliant pseudonymous suicide note on his son's behalf to save face. Surprisingly, this act of fiction catapults his son to overnight fame.
Ma Yinbo seizes the opportunity and, under his son's name, fulfills his dreams in the literary world, publishing books, gaining publicity, and receiving awards, all while basking in the glory of his newfound success. However, his son's unexpected wake-up throws a bizarre twist into the unfolding story.
