Within the Grip is a historical suspense romance drama starring Li Geyang and Eleanor Lee.
The story follows Crown Prince Yin Zhou, who disguises himself as Gu Zhaoxi to infiltrate the Gu family while investigating a threat. Gu Yuluo uses Yin Zhou to uncover the truth behind her own past. Each hiding their own secrets, they go from clashing with each other to becoming trusted partners.

Sinopsis
Gu Yuluo, who has lived with the Gu family since childhood, marries her childhood companion Gu Zhaoxi is about to become the new leader of the Xuanji Pavilion. However, Gu Zhaoxi is suddenly assassinated. To keep the situation stable, Yuluo finds someone who looks like Gu Zhaoxi and plans to train him to take Gu Zhaoxi's place.
Crown Prince Yin Zhou, trying to investigate a threat, sneaks into the Gu family disguised as Gu Zhaoxi. In public, Yin Zhou appears gentle and loving, but in private, he is decisive and ruthless.
