Qiao Nan felt as if he were floating on countless rose petals, but suddenly experienced difficulty breathing and was rushed to the hospital. Mu Xiangxiang, in Qiao Nan's body, arrived and administered an asthma inhaler. She reminded Qiao Nan, who was now inhabiting her body, that he has asthma, needs to take medication twice a day, and has a list of foods that he can't eat. Qiao Nan was frustrated by all of this.
Mu Xiangxiang also told him not to forget about her interview. To Qiao Nan’s surprise, the place Mu Xiangxiang was supposed to interview at was his own family’s hotel. During the meal, Qiao Nan deliberately created problems with the food and demanded that the owner, Qiao Yuanshan, be called over. Qiao Yuanshan apologized.
Qiao Nan, remembering all the times he was scolded by his father, unleashed a torrent of criticism on Qiao Yuanshan, asking him if he knew what he did wrong. Qiao Yuanshan meekly apologized again and offered to comp the meal. However, Qiao Nan insisted on paying, saying that as long as Qiao Yuanshan knew he was wrong, that was enough. After leaving, Qiao Nan received a call from Mu Xiangxiang, who was in Qiao Nan’s body, asking about the interview.
Qiao Nan realized that he had forgotten about being there for her. Feeling guilty, he promised to find her an even better job. Mu Xiangxiang, having nowhere to stay, went to Qiao Nan’s house, where she met his stepmother, Luo Meisheng. Mu Xiangxiang greeted her, which surprised Luo Meisheng. Qiao Nan didn't want to go to Mu Xiangxiang's house and tried to sleep in a park.
He then went to Mu Xiangxiang’s house, where he encountered her father, Mu Defeng, who offered him a drink. Qiao Nan also met Mu Xiangxiang's aunt-in-law. Remembering Mu Xiangxiang’s warning to be polite to the aunt-in-law, Qiao Nan watched as she took items from the family's small store without paying. This angered Qiao Nan, who demanded that she pay for them.
The aunt-in-law quickly paid, but Qiao Nan was still not satisfied, demanding that she pay for all the items she had taken in the past. Mu Defeng scolded Qiao Nan for being rude and apologized to his sister-in-law, who sensed that Mu Xiangxiang was different. Back in Mu Xiangxiang's room, Qiao Nan found a button and realized that she was the one who had been locked in the bathroom.
Playing with the button, Qiao Nan concluded that Mu Xiangxiang had a crush on him. Meanwhile, Mu Xiangxiang, in Qiao Nan’s bathroom, repeatedly tried to lift up his shirt to see his body and blushed in the mirror while admiring his abs. When Qiao Nan went to take a shower, he found Mu Xiangxiang's bathroom too small. Her mother, Xiaoyu, wanted to shower with him to save water, as Mu Xiangxiang had suggested before.
Qiao Nan pulled Xiaoyu out of the bathroom. Later, Xiaoyu brought Qiao Nan his medication, reminding him that he needed to take it. Annoyed, Qiao Nan almost threw the medicine away but ultimately took it. Xiaoyu and Mu Defeng both noticed that Mu Xiangxiang was acting strangely but attributed it to adolescence and reminded each other to be mindful. The next day, Mu Xiangxiang was amazed to discover a walk-in closet and an array of skincare products.
She carefully styled Qiao Nan's face, thinking that he was a refined man. Qiao Nan, on the other hand, altered Mu Xiangxiang's clothes and gave her a trendy new hairstyle, also removing her glasses. Mu Xiangxiang went to the refrigerator for something to eat but found only a few eggs. She cooked tea eggs and offered some to Luo Meisheng.
Unbeknownst to her, the tea was an expensive Pu-erh tea cake worth thousands of dollars that Qiao Yuanshan had intended to give as a gift. Qiao Yuanshan was not angry that she used the tea and enjoyed the tea eggs with Luo Meisheng. While riding the bus, Mu Xiangxiang noticed the thugs who had chased Qiao Nan glaring at her.
Remembering Qiao Nan’s advice to glare back if she encountered trouble, she did so, scaring the thugs so much that they fled as soon as the bus stopped. Director Wu checked the students' attire and noticed that Fang Lingli was wearing earrings, which he ordered her to remove. He was surprised to see Qiao Nan wearing a school uniform for the first time and greeting him politely. Suddenly, Qiao Nan called out to Mu Xiangxiang, who turned around to find that Qiao Nan had cut her long hair short.
