The series tells the story of Li Wenxiu, a Han Chinese girl raised in Altai, who pursues her literary dreams in the big city but faces numerous setbacks. She is forced to return to her hometown and rely on her mother, who runs a small shop. After meeting the Kazakh boy Batai, Wenxiu gradually discovers the beauty of the local culture.

Sinopsis
