The Wandering Earth
The Wandering Earth is a science fiction adventure film directed by Guo Fan, led by Qu Chuxiao, Li Guangjie, Ng Man Tat, and Zhao Jinmai, with a special appearance by Wu Jing.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Liu Cixin and is set in the year 2075. It tells the story of the imminent destruction of the sun and the destruction of the solar system, which is no longer suitable for human survival, and the desperate attempt to escape from the solar system with the Earth to find a new home.

Sinopsis
In recent years, scientists have discovered that the Sun is rapidly aging and expanding. In a short period of time, the entire solar system, including Earth, will be engulfed by the Sun. In order to save themselves, humanity proposed a bold plan called the "Wandering Earth," which involves using the collective efforts of the world to build tens of thousands of engines and steering engines on the surface of the Earth. These engines would propel the Earth out of the solar system, embarking on a journey to a new home that would take 2,500 years.
Chinese astronaut Liu Peiqiang, when his son Liu Qi was four years old, went to the Navigator Space Station and shouldered the responsibility of being a navigator alongside his international peers. In the blink of an eye, Liu Qi grew up, and he secretly took his younger sister Han Duoduo to the surface, where they stole their grandfather Han Ziang's transport vehicle. As a result, they not only got arrested but also encountered a global engine shutdown event.
In order to repair the engines and prevent Earth from colliding with Jupiter, a worldwide saturation rescue operation was launched. Even Liu Qi and his vehicle were forcibly conscripted.
