The series is adapted from Bailu Chengshuang’s novel “桃花折江山 / Tao Hua Zhe Jiang Shan” and tells the story of Shen Zaiye, the “Left Chancellor of the Court,” who is forced to marry Princess Jiang Taohua in a political scheme. The two begin as adversaries but gradually develop feelings for each other as they face crises together.

Sinopsis
Shen Zaiye, the Left Chancellor of the Qi Kingdom, who meets Princess Jiang Taohua of the Northern Yuan Kingdom due to a conspiracy by his political enemies. Shen Zaiye is cunning and ruthless, while Jiang Taohua is clever and resourceful. In the turbulent political landscape between the two nations, they outsmart and manipulate each other. Forced to collaborate in the face of powerful enemies, they gradually grow closer. As they confront the choice between love and duty to their respective countries, they overcome numerous obstacles and ultimately work together to stabilize the kingdom.
