> Resúmenes de Storm Eye
In the hospital, an unconscious Qiao Xichuan is being tended to. A doctor, Director Li, informs Du Meng that while Qiao Xichuan's bodily functions are stable, he has sustained brain damage, and his memory recovery depends entirely on luck. Director Li assures Du Meng that they will pursue all active and effective treatments.
A new medicine is slated for administration, and Du Meng, acknowledging Qiao Xichuan's crucial role in their ongoing investigation, instructs his team to maintain a vigilant watch and report any changes. A spy, later identified as Bat, infiltrates the premises disguised as a doctor. He overhears Director Li's instructions for Qiao Xichuan's medication.
After discarding his white coat, Bat cunningly distracts a nurse by feigning confusion about directions and then covertly swaps the medicine she was about to administer to Qiao Xichuan. Moments later, a nurse’s panicked cries about Qiao Xichuan's sudden cardiac arrest echo through the ward, prompting Bat to leave, seemingly satisfied with his mission accomplished. However, Bat’s movements are under constant surveillance by Du Meng and his team, who track his departure and immediately dispatch agents to follow him.
Du Meng later confirms that the injection was indeed tampered with, but thanks to his team's timely intervention, Qiao Xichuan was never in actual danger; they had intercepted the nurse before the altered medicine could be administered. Du Meng then arranges for Qiao Xichuan's secure transfer to another hospital.
An Jing reveals that this entire sequence was a calculated test, conceived by her and Ma Shang, to see if the opposing organization would attempt to silence Qiao Xichuan, given his extensive knowledge. She expresses surprise that Bat was brazen enough to take the bait and make such a daring move. Following the hospital incident, Du Meng recovers discarded gloves from the underground garage after Bat's departure.
Qin Ting and Song Ju soon arrive with the fingerprint analysis results: the fingerprints match those found on the phone Qiao Xichuan had previously given to Fu Dayong. The perpetrator, an internationally known but highly cautious operative, has no real name, only a code, "Bat." This revelation immediately reminds everyone of Zhou Lian's dying message, which also referred to "Bat." Re-evaluating the case, the team concludes that Qiao Xichuan did not kill Zhou Lian.
Her message was a warning, indicating that Qiao Xichuan and Zhou Lian were likely unaware of Bat's presence in Shuangqing. Ma Shang theorizes that Qiao Xichuan deliberately planted Bat's fingerprints on the phone to frame him, a desperate attempt to use the authorities to eliminate Bat. They also consider the possibility that information found on Qiao Xichuan's computer was intentionally left by Bat to mislead them.
The team concludes that neither Qiao Xichuan nor Bat are the ultimate masterminds, suggesting a higher-level organization or a "sleeper" agent is still at play. Song Ju then reveals another critical piece of information: the website Wu Miao used to sell data was funded and operated by Hermes, further emphasizing the organization's pervasive involvement. Given these developments, Ma Shang proposes to Qin Ting that he resign from Dinghua.
He explains that if he remains at the company, the enemy might suspect their investigation is ongoing, even after abandoning Qiao Xichuan. His departure, however, could lead the adversaries to lower their guard. Qin Ting approves Ma Shang's request. An Jing asks Ma Shang if he will now publicly reveal his identity within the city bureau. Ma Shang playfully dismisses the idea, joking about having social phobia and suggesting it will keep him from "messing around outside."
Meanwhile, Du Meng receives a phone call from his sister, Xiao Ling, who has arrived in Shuangqing to visit him. An Jing encourages Du Meng to prioritize his family and go pick her up. During dinner, Xiao Ling shares her concerns about their mother's declining health and the inadequate medical facilities back home. Du Meng promises to find a way to transfer their mother to a city hospital for better care.
Xiao Ling also brings joyous news of her college admission but worries about the increased financial strain on Du Meng. He reassures her to focus on her studies, promising to handle all expenses and even offers to buy her new clothes as a reward. Upon learning that Xiao Ling is staying in a cheap, potentially unsafe small hotel near the station, Du Meng insists on moving her to a more secure hotel, despite her protests about the cost.
An Jing and Ma Shang then meet with Miao Fei, urging her to reconsider her resignation from Dinghua, as her continued cooperation is vital to their investigation. Miao Fei is hesitant, expressing her desire to leave what she describes as a "place of right and wrong" and her concern for her sister, Miao Lu, and her family's safety. An Jing assures her that she will only be required to provide information from within Dinghua, with her safety guaranteed.
An Jing appeals to Miao Fei's sense of duty, stating their mission is for the country and Dinghua's core technology, which ultimately convinces Miao Fei. The following day, at a company meeting, Lin Xiaolan announces the reintegration of the human resources department into the administrative center, appointing Miao Fei as its new head.
Ma Shang then formally announces his resignation, citing a conflict with his personal career plans after the department's cancellation, though he expresses gratitude for his time at Dinghua. Miao Fei subsequently introduces a new, "extreme but very safe" security protocol, which she developed in consultation with Ma Shang, designed to protect Dinghua's core technology from external threats. Lin Xiaolan clarifies that this involves fragmenting all data, granting only Professor Zou access to the complete core technology.
Professor Zou, while acknowledging potential impacts on the project schedule, expresses his full support for the company's decision. Later, Cheng Lei confronts Ma Shang on the rooftop, expressing intense anger over Ma Shang's resignation and, more significantly, his proposal for fragmenting core technology data. He views this as a lost opportunity for IT professionals to access advanced technology.
Cheng Lei accuses Ma Shang and Miao Fei of nepotism, comparing them to Pang Yishan and Yang Xun, and suggesting Ma Shang's actions were orchestrated by Miao Huanyang to benefit his daughter, Miao Fei. Ma Shang dismisses Cheng Lei's accusations as overthinking. That evening, Ma Shang informs his parents that he will be moving to Beijing in a few days and that his relationship with An Jing is progressing.
His mother is overjoyed and, despite Ma Shang's plea for them not to be overly cautious about his work, excitedly suggests inviting An Jing for a meal to "lay the foundation" before he leaves, which Ma Shang tries to deflect. Meanwhile, Cheng Lei, during a date with Miao Lu, receives a phone call from Jeffrey.
He steps outside to speak privately, informing Jeffrey that Ma Shang, the individual Jeffrey had long suspected, has left Dinghua but has implemented a significant security measure, making it challenging to acquire the complete core technology. Jeffrey reacts furiously, reminding Cheng Lei of the sacrifices made, including his own people, to secure Cheng Lei's position. Cheng Lei retorts that they are partners, not master and subordinate, and assures Jeffrey he has his own plan.
Back with Miao Lu, she expresses concern and suggests talking to Miao Fei about the situation at work, but Cheng Lei dismisses it, stating it is pointless as Lin Xiaolan already approved the new security. Cheng Lei laments that Ma Shang, whom he considered a friend, did not consider his perspective.
Miao Lu, feeling insecure, worries that Cheng Lei's apparent dislike for Miao Fei might extend to her, but he reassures her that he separates personal feelings from professional matters and that he likes her. Later, An Jing, observing Bat finally making a move, alerts Du Meng to initiate action, ordering a team to track Bat via surveillance. Once Bat leaves his hotel room, Du Meng infiltrates it to conduct a search. However, Bat unexpectedly turns back.
An Jing immediately warns Du Meng to evacuate and instructs Xiao Li to create a diversion. As Du Meng makes his escape, he discovers hidden, offline cameras in the room and quickly deletes the stored footage. He then climbs out the window and hides precariously on the building's exterior. Bat re-enters his room and lights a cigar, settling in, which prolongs Du Meng's dangerous wait.
To buy Du Meng more time, An Jing instructs the front desk to call Bat's room with a fabricated excuse about his usual wine being unavailable. This distraction allows Du Meng to jump into an empty room directly below. Though he successfully evades detection, Du Meng hits his head on a guardrail during the jump, resulting in a severe injury and rendering him unconscious. An Jing is notified of his condition and sends Lao Liu to assist, while reminding her team to continue monitoring Bat.
