Sharp Downpour is a crime suspense drama directed by Cheng Lu, starring Li Muchen and Xuan Lu.
The series follows two female leads—rookie police officer Lu Yi and team captain Lin Shen—whose contrasting personalities initially put them at odds. Over time, they evolve from rivals into trusted partners, working side by side to solve a series of bizarre and gruesome murder cases, including dismemberment with a chainsaw and bodies hidden in tree hollows. As they unravel the truth case by case, they also uncover the long-buried mystery behind Lu Yi’s father’s old case, while confronting their own inner traumas and growing stronger through the journey.
