Last Letteris a romantic film written and directed by Japanese director Shunji Iwai, led by Zhou Xun and Qin Hao, co-starring Du Jiang, Zhang Zifeng, Deng Enxi, Bian Tianyang, Wu Yanshu, and Tan Zhuo, with a special appearance by Hu Ge.
The film tells the story of Yuan Zhihua, who attends a reunion in place of her sister and meets Yin Chuan, a boy she admired when she was a young girl, and their correspondence leads to a tale of three generations from their own perspectives.

Sinopsis
Yuan Zhihua attends a junior high school reunion in place of her deceased sister, Zhinan, and meets Yin Chuan, a senior she admired at the time.
By mistake, Zhihua begins to regain her lost youth through the unaddressed letters and confides in Yin Chuan.
On the other hand, Yin Chuan receives the letter and sends it back to Zhinan's hometown, where it is received by Zhi Nan's daughter, Mumu.
Mumu also writes back in the name of Zhinan, hoping to find out about her mother's youth.
A series of misplaced confessions and reminiscences, in which the dusty past slowly reawakens in the lines, gradually revealing the intertwined stories between two sisters and three generations.
