An Chuxia, feeling bored with university life, discusses joining a club with her friends. Bai Xue appears, inviting An Chuxia to join her Judo Club, since other clubs are wary of accepting her because of Li Shendong's expulsion order. " An Chuxia, this is your last chance," Bai Xue says, "You're listed in the expulsion order. No one dares to take you except me."
An Chuxia initially declines but is impressed by Bai Xue's display of strength when she takes down a thief, prompting her to join the Judo Club. Unbeknownst to An Chuxia, the thief Bai Xue defeated was none other than Mr. Yang, who harbors a secret crush on Bai Xue. He staged the incident to help her recruit members. Bai Xue expresses her gratitude, and Mr. Yang happily offers to continue helping her next year if necessary.
Meanwhile, Bai Qiuzi, a devoted admirer of Li Shendong, constantly trails after him, much to his annoyance. His friends suggest she should cause trouble for Han Qilu, thus getting rid of both Qilu and Qiuzi from Shendong’s life. Bai Qiuzi confronts Han Qilu but is immediately captivated by his charm, and she finds herself speechless in his presence. Bai Qiuzi nearly gets hit by someone, but Han Qilu prevents it, further fueling her infatuation.
Li Shendong continues to pursue An Chuxia, even attending her classes. He questions her fascination with Mr. Guo's lectures, feeling ignored. An Chuxia retorts, comparing Mr. Guo’s talent and handsomeness with Li Shendong’s shallowness, even calling him "ugly." When An Chuxia falls, Li Shendong intends to help her, but Han Qilu intervenes, carrying her back to the dorm, much to Li Shendong's frustration.
Han Qilu’s professor was impressed by Han Qilu’s profound research report on astronomy published in Nature magazine and informed him that the university will give him recognition after several days. Han Qilu delivers an astronomy lecture, gazing at An Chuxia as he speaks romantically about finding someone who ends loneliness, confessing that finding a star is easier than finding that person.
During the lecture, Bai Qiuzi interrupts and publicly confesses her feelings for Han Qilu, stating that she likes him more than he likes the stars. An Chuxia is taken aback. Later, An Chuxia passes by the basketball court, where Li Shendong assumes she came to watch him play, leading to another misunderstanding. In class, Li Shendong asks An Chuxia for her contact information, but Han Qilu intentionally provides a fake number.
Han Qilu secretly slips An Chuxia a note, demanding she meet him in room 503 or he will reveal their engagement. An Chuxia complies, but she stops Han Qilu from kissing her. Li Shendong, attempting to call An Chuxia using the number Han Qilu provided, realizes the number is incorrect, confirming Han Qilu's deception. That night, Han Qilu uses a ladder to climb into An Chuxia's dorm room. "
If you still refuse to let me in," Han Qilu says, "the whole college will know about it." The security guards spot the ladder and suspect a pervert is breaking into the girls' dorms. An Chuxia hides Han Qilu in her room to avoid detection. As Han Qilu escapes, he nearly bumps into Bai Qiuzi, who is doing laundry. He quickly pulls her aside, making her even more infatuated with him.
Bai Qiuzi shyly offers Han Qilu water, but Han Qilu, seeing An Chuxia secretly giving him water, decisively rejects Bai Qiuzi. The incident sparks a campus-wide alert regarding a pervert. Following the incident, the school holds a meeting to address the situation and warn female students about the potential danger. Han Qilu, concerned for An Chuxia's safety, calls her father to report the situation. An Chuxia's father sends Feng Shao to take An Chuxia out of the dorm.
An Chuxia objects to moving out, leading to another disagreement with Han Qilu, who says that he and her father are always thinking for her safety. An Chuxia, who wants to live independently, retorts, "We are now in college, and we must learn how to live independently." Meanwhile, rumors spread that Li Shendong is the pervert stealing underwear, infuriating him. His friends suggest he use this as an opportunity to act as An Chuxia's protector.
Alone in her room, An Chuxia initially vents her anger at Han Qilu for his lack of consideration, hitting a doll, but she soon regrets her outburst. That same night, Li Shendong and Han Qilu are both outside An Chuxia’s dorm, both intending to protect her, leading to another confrontation between the two rivals, during which Han Qilu accuses Li Shendong of being the pervert. The Judo Club gains a temporary assistant coach in Han Qilu.
He tells An Chuxia to lie down and explains that if she gets too tired (to hold his legs down), he won't have anyone to hold his legs, thus he won't have to do the sit-ups. Bai Qiuzi was happy but then realised that Han Qilu is not there for her.
