The Demon Master Episode 35 Recap
> The Demon Master Recap
Qin Qing declared that the ring represented Han Qilu's past and that she was his future, implying her intention to destroy it. An Chuxia was shocked and chased after Qin Qing, but it was too late; Qin Qing appeared to throw the ring off a cliff. An Chuxia was devastated, while Han Qilu rebuked Qin Qing for her impulsive actions.
Qin Qing, seeing An Chuxia's profound importance to Han Qilu, expressed her pain, asking if An Chuxia was truly that important and if Han Qilu didn't see her efforts. Han Qilu responded that Qin Qing, having been close to him for so long, should know An Chuxia's significance. He clarified that he might not have been clear before, but now he stated unequivocally: "From the past to now, I have only one fiancee.
The ring can be changed, but I will never change." Unbeknownst to An Chuxia, Qin Qing had not actually thrown the ring away; she had only pretended to. An Chuxia was heartbroken, believing the ring had been lost and that her efforts to trigger Han Qilu's memory had failed. She sat at the piano, playing a sorrowful melody and weeping. Han Qilu approached her, joining her in a duet. He comforted her, revealing, "Chuxia. I have recalled it."
Overjoyed and emotional, An Chuxia embraced him, and they shared a deep kiss. Later, a family member referred to as "Yuan Er" greeted them, happily announcing that Qin Qing had moved out. She asked where they had been. Han Qilu, back to his old self, jokingly reminded her that she never spoke to him like that even when he was seven. As the day ended, Han Qilu told An Chuxia to rest.
However, he then entered her room, asserting, "Do you think this is the ending? I want to get back everything which I have lost during this period." Han Qilu prepared a heartfelt slideshow documenting his and An Chuxia's sweet past moments, displaying it for her at school. An Chuxia was deeply touched, admitting, "I love the movie. . . And you." As a reward for his efforts, Han Qilu asked her to accompany him somewhere that night.
Meanwhile, Qin Qing approached Han Qilu, demanding a date with him at the Regent Hotel at 8 PM, threatening to expose his secret of faked amnesia if he refused. Han Qilu, however, countered that he was never impolite to women "unless she robbed my beloved thing," referring to the ring. He then stated that he knew her secrets too, but Qin Qing confidently reiterated her terms.
At the Regent Hotel restaurant, Han Qilu, instead of dining with Qin Qing, called An Chuxia to join them. An Chuxia was surprised, but Han Qilu reassured her, "You look pretty in this way." Qin Qing, seeing An Chuxia, questioned Han Qilu's intentions, but he stated they now had a witness. Qin Qing then said that the rings were gone and urged Han Qilu to move on, stating, "The one in front of you is your true love."
Han Qilu affirmed his love for An Chuxia, stating, "She is my true love." An Chuxia, understanding the situation, also declared the ring important as a symbol of their love, but now that Han Qilu's memory had returned, she declared, "goodbye," signifying their decision to move past the ring. Han Qilu dismissed the ring when Qin Qing asked if he didn't want it, telling her, "If you like it, just keep it."
Han Qilu and An Chuxia solidified their decision to forgo the ring and begin anew, leaving Qin Qing heartbroken. Distraught by Han Qilu's rejection, Qin Qing drank alone in a dimly lit rehearsal room late at night. Li Shendong found her there, offering comfort. Qin Qing lashed out at him, calling him a "Stinky melon" for acting indifferent when he was clearly hurting over An Chuxia himself.
She then declared that Li Shendong had actually inspired her not to give up on Han Qilu. True to her word, Qin Qing soon caused a scene during a literature class, proclaiming her determination to pursue Han Qilu openly. She was promptly removed by security, but not before shouting, "Qilu, I won't give up!"
Witnessing Qin Qing's persistent obsession, Li Shendong and Feng Shao discussed their dilemma and decided a more drastic measure was needed: one of them would have to pretend to pursue Qin Qing to distract her. They began to draw lots to determine who would take on this task. During the draw, Bai Qiuzi unexpectedly appeared, upset at the idea of them deciding such matters by drawing sticks.
It was ultimately decided that Li Shendong would undertake the fake courtship to deter Qin Qing from pestering Han Qilu. Li Shendong, convinced of his plan, boasted to Feng Shao about his handsome appearance. He prepared to confess to Qin Qing in a way he believed she would appreciate. Li Shendong then stood outside Qin Qing's window and theatrically recited a modified passage from Shakespeare, attempting to declare his affection.
Qin Qing, however, quickly interrupted his performance, pointing out his factual errors and criticizing his performance. Undeterred, Li Shendong confessed, "I love you." Qin Qing was unimpressed, recognizing his facade, seeing through his act. Li Shendong tried to maintain his pretense, claiming he was doing it for her. Qin Qing then revealed, "Unfortunately, he has recovered earlier," referring to Han Qilu's memory. This was overheard by An Chuxia.
Upon learning that Han Qilu had been faking his amnesia, An Chuxia decided to teach him a lesson and test the depth of his feelings. Later, Han Qilu called someone, likely Feng Shao, asking about An Chuxia. Shortly after, Han Qilu received a terrifying phone call. A voice informed him, "Hello, Mr. Han Qilu. Miss An Chuxia is under a critical condition." Terrified by the news of An Chuxia's critical condition, Han Qilu immediately rushed to the hospital.
There, he encountered Li Shendong and their other friends, only to discover the shocking truth. An Chuxia, having learned about Han Qilu's feigned amnesia, had orchestrated this elaborate prank with their friends. She intended to give him a taste of his own medicine and to test the extent of his genuine concern for her.
