She quickly reports on her completed tasks and her upcoming schedule for Monday before making a swift exit, finding an excuse to escape. Back home, she indulges in snacks while engrossed in a sweet idol drama, deeply moved by the intense romance depicted.
Suddenly, an advertisement for a game beta test called "Destined" pops up on her screen. Initially uninterested, she tries to close it, but the Mr. System prevents her, promising the ultimate love experience through personalized gameplay. Intrigued, Jiang Xiaomeng lists her ideal boyfriend's qualities: cold and reserved, deeply devoted, loyal, ambitious, understanding of her preferences, doting, a little scheming, a little silly, and most importantly, handsome.

Vendors immediately recognize her as "Childe Meng" and clamor to sell her goods. Bewildered, she buys everything to escape their persistent attention. As she turns to leave, she crashes into a man who looks exactly like Qin Han. In the chaos, someone steals a black box the man was holding. Jiang Mengmeng is startled and breaks into a cold sweat, seeing her boss's face in this ancient setting. The man is Murong Chen, the 5th prince of Cang Yun Kingdom.
Despite his handsome appearance, he is a frail yet sharp-tongued nobleman, a germaphobe, sarcastic, and directionally challenged. Suddenly, Jiang Mengmeng is chased relentlessly through three streets by Xiao Ai, her personal maid, and A Liang, a guard.
Exhausted, she learns from them that she is Jiang Mengmeng, the 9th Princess of Ruo Shui Kingdom, known as "Childe Meng" for her frequent escapes from the palace in male disguise. Xiao Ai and A Liang escort Jiang Mengmeng back to Ling Xi Palace. Doctor Xu examines her, finding no external injuries but suspecting neurological amnesia from a fall while climbing the palace wall.
Queen Jiang Wan, the beautiful, powerful, and beauty-conscious ruler of Ruo Shui Kingdom, who is also Jiang Mengmeng's eldest sister and dotes on her, expresses deep concern. Seizing the opportunity, Jiang Mengmeng feigns amnesia and meticulously records all information in a small notebook for future reference. She learns that she is 17 years old and resides in Ling Xi Palace. Meanwhile, Murong Chen recounts the day's events to his loyal and highly skilled confidant, Chang Kong.
Discovering the blood night-blooming cereus was fake, he orders Chang Kong to gather all the sellers to find the real one and instructs Tian Ji Pavilion to continue their search for a woman with a pure Yang destiny. He deliberately used a private transaction outside Tian Ji Pavilion's name to avoid exposing the organization's interest in the blood night-blooming cereus prematurely. He suspects the fake flower was a bait, which he intends to use to catch the real culprit.
